Right Wing Smear Merchant Chuck C. Johnson Posts Alleged Rape Victim’s Name on Twitter
As usual, Chuck C. Johnson is trying to make himself part of the Rolling Stone UVA story, digging up the name of a woman he says is “Jackie,” the source for Rolling Stone’s partially retracted report, and publishing it on Twitter.
I won’t post the tweet where he reveals the name, but here’s another one of his long string of tweets threatening her:
I’m giving Jackie until later tonight to tell the truth and then I’m going to start revealing everything about her past.

That’s not journalism — it’s extortion. It’s a clear violation of Twitter’s rules to post this kind of information, and reckless endangerment to boot. And we should point out that it has not been proven that “Jackie’s” story was false — and she’s standing by it at last report. Chuck is posting the name of a woman who may very well be a rape victim (if he even has the right person at all).
. @support @safety Hey folks - this reckless endangerment is a clear violation of your rules. Please take action. https://t.co/Lo3yPg28Q1
