Breaking: NAF Will Move to Hold Chuck C. Johnson in Contempt if He Skips Out on Deposition

Johnson’s very bad decision to publish leaked copies of the Center for Medical Progress “sting” videos targeting Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation, the NAF’s lawyers (mofo.com) are not pleased with our boy Chuck; they’ve now produced an opposition to Johnson’s motion to quash the subpoena he was served last week.
The NAF says they will file a motion to hold Johnson in contempt unless he honors the subpoena and shows up for a deposition in Fresno this Friday, and demand that he pay attorneys’ fees and costs. Which could be a hefty sum of money; and if Johnson still refuses to appear or pay these costs and sanctions, he could very well get the Kim Davis treatment and end up in jail.
When Johnson posted the photo at the top of this article on his Facebook page, I knew it would come back and bite him; and now it has. The NAF’s lawyers included it in this opposition.

But as usual, he’s mistaken; Judge William Orrick’s wife is not a “Planned Parenthood board member,” she’s just a supporter of women’s reproductive rights. She was attacked by many right wing sites when the temporary restraining order against the Center for Medical Progress was granted.
