Anti-Choice Fanatic David Daleiden Violates Federal Judge’s Order, Releases New NAF Video

Thumbing your nose at a federal judge is probably not a good idea
Law • Views: 46,736

I’m not going to post the video at LGF, and I’ve redacted the name of the National Abortion Federation employee shown above for her safety, but David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress are now flagrantly violating the injunction issued by federal judge William Orrick, releasing another video on YouTube secretly shot at an NAF meeting, despite the judge’s clear order against it.

Mr. Daleiden may be going to jail even sooner than we thought.

Well the good news is the deal’s probably off so Dave’s probably not going to get the probation and could in fact actually spend some time behind bars. What an asshole.

Dispicable!

In other news.

foxnews.com

I know pro-choice is an important issue but taking offence at a fictional clip made by the Doritos manufacturer is taking it a bit too seious. The ironic part in this is that the posted YouTube clip was taken down by the same manufacturer…. Too much blowback?

Two separate cases, the probation deal is for the case pending against him in Texas, though this act may have cost him that if the prosecutor feels that it could hurt him politically to be seen as cutting Daleiden slack when he’s purposefully working to piss off a federal judge.

I am so not surprised.

These jackasses believe they are acting on God’s words and so think the law doesn’t apply to them. That bit about ‘render unto Caesar’ makes no sense to them.

Man…

I remember reading a story about the 9/11 hijackers and their behavior in America. Despite being strict Wahhabists (basically, God only wants you pray, breathe, and occasionally bang out kids), these guys fit in by violating every tenant of their belief system.

The rationalization was that it was ok, since in their pea brains, they were on a holy mission and God would forgive them.

Pretty sure everyone sees where I’m going with this.

Fucking conservatives and Republicans pretty much think the same way any more. This asshole is going to crucify himself on a cross made of mp4 and avi files, because in the end, God will give him a car and time share in Heaven. Or something. Screw the Constitution and rule of American law.

He’s appealing to a party base that thinks that we’re “losing” the “War on Terror” because we’re being “too PC” and not employing the sort of tactics that made sense in 1944, when “precision bombing” was putting a ton of bombs in a 10 block radius.

Right. Really that meme is so representative of the fact that wingnuts want to live in a modern society but don’t want to have to pay for it. No one likes paying taxes but some of us realize that without them, we wouldn’t function as a nation. The most pathetic thing though of all is that so many of these same wingnuts who want little investment on our people are the same people who insist Obama’s weakened the armed forces and we need even more defense spending.

Schools mostly were local community affairs that either educated the kids of families of who didn’t need their wages to keep everybody fed (earliest federal child labor law wasn’t passed until 1916) or were private schools that catered to the children of wealthy families.

Same deal with colleges, most of those (aside from the land grant colleges) were private affairs that catered almost exclusively to the families of the rich and powerful.

The majority of the railroad structure that existed prior to 1913 either was constructed at the behest of the federal government or was in some way subsidized by it.

Most communities below the level of major cities had perhaps a small network of paved roads paid for by the locals, with the rest dirt roads that became dust farms in the summer and mud pits during the fall and winter.

Subways were again totally local affairs, most of which were small networks that connected centers of business and government, rather than the sprawling networks we know today.

And our Armed Forces were a joke in 1913, barely large enough to make us a third-rank nation. And 8 wars? Congress has only ever officially declared 5 wars, so what were the other 3?

If we don’t have the federal income tax. There’s no way we win any of the wars we win in the 20th century. A lot of the wars we won prior to 1913 were much smaller scale. And as much as I appreciate the Continental Army, we did need help to beat the British which was more outlasting than anything than outright victory.

re: #75 HappyWarrior

I can’t believe it had any legitimacy. Then again looking back at it, I can’t believe the whole thing had any legitimacy since the opponents of SSM were motivated not by legal principle but by their own prejudice.

The best argument against SSM was mindless adherence to tradition. At least this argument wasn’t actively offensive, although it is still totally unpersuasive.

YIKES!
Alleged bomb builder shakes up Kern County desert community

Sloan made no secret of the fact that he distrusted “the government” and hated local sheriff’s deputies. The hand-painted signs on his barbed wire-topped fence screamed “DIRTY COPS” and “I DON’T PAY TAX,” apparently attributing the latter to the biblical book of Revelations.

Some locals say he had threatened to blow up the town.

“We never took him seriously,” Din said.

Until last month.

That’s when agents and officers from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Bakersfield Police Department, FBI and other agencies served a search warrant at Sloan’s Johannesburg home on Buluwayo Avenue.

Local and federal explosives experts spent four days removing several homemade bombs, incendiary devices and booby traps from Sloan’s home and exploding them one after another in the desert outside of town.

The explosions were so powerful, some thought the shockwaves might shatter their windows.

“I think we were lucky he was caught on time,” Din said. “This was a disaster waiting to happen.”

And it’s a home-grown disaster that hundreds of law enforcement agencies across the country fear may be more likely than an attack by radicalized Muslims.

What they called “schools” for most kids only went to 4th grade. 8th grade in more prosperous towns.

I’d hesitate to say we had “roads”. The whole reason Eisenhower got the idea for the Interstate Highways is because in 1919 he was part of an Army Convoy from Washington DC (departing July 7) to San Francisco (arrived September 5).

In the course of its journey, the convoy broke and repaired[21] wooden bridges[2]:10 (14 in Wyoming),[22] and “practically” all roadways were unpaved from Illinois through Nevada.[1]:4 The convoy travelled up to 32 mph (51 km/h),[10] and the schedule was for 18 mph (29 km/h)[23]:111 to average 15 mph (24 km/h).[24] The actual average for the 3,250 mi (5,230 km) covered in 573.5 hours[25] was 5.65 mph (9.09 km/h) over the 56 travel days for an average of 10.24 hours per travel day. Six rest days without convoy travel were at East Palestine, Ohio; Chicago Heights, Illinois; Denison, Iowa; North Platte, Nebraska; Laramie, Wyoming; and Carson City, Nevada. The shortest driving periods between control points were from Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Omaha, Nebraska (2 hrs for 5 mi) and Delphos, Ohio, to Fort Wayne, Indiana (6 hrs for 51 mi), while 4 days had average speeds over 9 mph (14 km/h): E Palestine OH to Wooster OH (9 hr for 83 mi), South Bend IN to Chicago Heights Il (83/4 hr for 80 mi), Jefferson IA to Denison IA (71/2 hr for 68 mi), and Anderson’s Ranch NV to Ely NV (8 hr for 77 mi).[25]

1) Gets the outrage machine stirred up again

For what he’s trying to achieve, it makes sense. Probably doesn’t even matter if he ends up a convicted felon in the end.

They still don’t get it, do they? They don’t seem to understand that their brand of patriotism is not in sync with the majority of Americans—if it was, hundreds of thousands of people would have already converged on Harney County. I mean, it’s been over a month.

Despite all the whining about President Obama, America hasn’t been stolen or destroyed since he took office, and most people are in pretty fair shape: they have food, water, shelter, healthcare, jobs, etc. and there sure as hell isn’t any ridiculous “white genocide” happening. *eyeroll*

So, yeah, despite what the poo-flinging howler monkeys on the right are screeching about every day, most Americans are FAR too comfortable & content to throw it all away and run off on some sort of Calvin & Hobbes type adventure/battle. These assholes need to grow up, seek gainful employment, and try contributing something useful to society, FFS.
