Trump Attacks Hillary’s Health: “Think Hillary Would Be Able to Stand Up Here for an Hour?”

Off the leash again
Politics • Views: 41,842

I have to admit I thought he’d be attacking Hillary for having pneumonia before this. His campaign put out the word to refrain from mentioning her health after that fainting episode on 9/11, and they kept Trump on the leash for three whole days before he couldn’t stop himself any more.

I don’t know, folks, ya think Hillary would be able to stand up here for an hour and do this? I dunno…

UPDATE at 9/14/16 6:40:58 pm by Charles Johnson

Would you be surprised to learn that Trump was even lying about how hot it was in that arena?

What’s Trump going to say when Clinton wipes the walls with him at the debate (yeah, that’s upcoming). She’s going to be doing laps around the pudgy bastard who’s skin tone is unhealthy to say the least. And that doesn’t even begin to touch on the mental health aspects.

Prudishness is not limited to the USA’s conservatives:

English woman has sexy knickers snatched off clothesline for being too close to a primary school (goes to Huffington Post)

She’s also endured complaints to her local council about hanging her underclothes on her line.

She lives in a small village that is apparently more uptight than my own.

What will all the polls-from-hell dropping today and resulting panic attacks (me including - what the actual fuck, America?!?) I decided to google which poll was the most accurate in 2012. PPP won out, so I went to their website and, based on a quick skim, there’s this:

This is something we’re consistently finding in our polling- the voters who are undecided vastly prefer continuing the direction of Obama to the sharp pivot of Trump’s vision for the country. These folks don’t like Hillary Clinton or they’d already be voting for her, but it seems likely for most of these folks the choice is Clinton, third party, or stay home. The least likely possibility is that they’ll end up in Trump’s column and that means if he’s going to come back, he’s probably not going to do it by winning over undecideds.

That was re Virginia. This is what they have to say re Florida:

PPP’s newest Florida poll finds a very tight race for President in the state. In the full field Donald Trump gets 44% to 43% for Hillary Clinton, with Gary Johnson at 5%, and Jill Stein and Evan McMullin each at 1%. But in a head to head between Clinton and Trump, the nominal lead flips to Clinton at 47/46. That’s because voters who support one of the minor candidates or are undecided in the full field pick Clinton by 12 points over Trump if they had to choose just between the two major candidates.

So…here’s hoping everyone who speculated that people won’t want to throw away their votes on third parties come election day are correct.

It won’t make any difference to our media of Trump sycophants either, and that’s where the real danger is.

He could put his tiny hands all over any woman he chose, on camera, and the media would start talking about Bill Clinton.

Many of these independents are just shy Republicans. That’s easy enough to understand. If I still voted Republican, the last thing I’d do is admit it in public.

True independents are impossible to me to understand, especially the lefty purity morons. They are offered two sandwiches. One is seasoned with mustard and they hate mustard. The other is seasoned with arsenic and ground glass. They think their hate of mustard makes it rational to dine on arsenic and ground glass.

Composer is an application that lets you easily manage the software libraries you use with PHP. Once it’s installed, it takes care of loading all the required files and all the files they depend on, and it also makes it super easy to update to the latest versions of everything you use.

It basically removes a lot of the manual labor from PHP programming and lets you focus on the code.

Well, the media dead set on Trump does not make Trump president, votes do. They were dead set on Romney over Obama as well.

Remember that though the media made a pile of money on Trump’s rise, they will make an equal pile of money tearing him apart. As soon as the first media outlet of significance weighs in, the rest will follow because they don’t want to be scooped or lose money.

What Charles said. But also, package managers allow a developer of an open source library to make the library available in a central repository. Node.js is a popular platform for running JavaScript back ends, and npm (Node Package Manager) allows people to publish their libraries in a way that Node can use them. Since Node uses JavaScript (the language that web browsers understand), you can also use npm to publish libraries for the web. When a library is updated, developers can run a single command and they’ll get the latest code.

What’s to stop trump from simply raising his voice and constantly interrupting/talking over her?

re: #58 Unabogie

What Charles said. But also, package managers allow a developer of an open source library to make the library available in a central repository. Node.js is a popular platform for running JavaScript back ends, and npm (Node Package Manager) allows people to publish their libraries in a way that Node can use them. Since Node uses JavaScript (the language that web browsers understand), you can also use npm to publish libraries for the web. When a library is updated, developers can run a single command and they’ll get the latest code.

got it. sorta
thank you and charles both

maybe his network woudl be a threat - maybe not
why would most of the media act in unison though?
and how does that explain print media?
no one’s got guts anymore? or they just havent figured how to monetize taking the high ground?

At the moment, his “network” is a bunch of speculation.

The media will not act in unison for the same reason they never do: Each outlet is trying to outdo the other. Sooner or later one of them is going to start tearing apart Mr. Trump, and that will make that outlet stand out from the others.
As for print media, I cannot say. My local paper is heavily-GOP leaning. As for the New York Times, they’ve had what appears to be a vendetta against the Clintons for a while. The Washington Post is starting to become more critical of Mr. Trump, as are outlets like the Economist.

Probably nothing. However, I’m quite sure that the Clinton campaign is planning for that as one of the possibilities to prepare for. She will also not be caught by surprise if Trump tries a Gish gallop like Romney did in his first debate ‘win’ vs. Obama.

I want Trump supporters to suffer for this after the election.

Well, I don’t want anyone to suffer. I do want people to realise that what they think Mr. Trump will give them could not possibly come to pass. I want them to see him as a con artist and decisively reject his message.

I am an atheist, but this Bible verse comes to mind:

1 Corinthians 13:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Mr. Trump is appealing as a childish thing might appeal to a child (and 1st Corinthians is not his favourite book, that would be Two Corinthians walking into a bar).

At some point, a good number of his supporters are going to put away that childish thing, and the rest will return to the shadows from whence they came. The nation has survived far worse than Mr. Trump, and his extremist supporters (to be clear, all of them are not extremists) will go back under the rocks from whence they came as well.

Few live in a redder state than south by dog carolina—1 out of 7 Representatives, no Senators, no statewide offices held by Dems. Little money, little hope of winning most contests, but our candidates work their asses off, traveling around the state, doing appearances and rallies, and putting forth great platforms that, if our citizens weren’t willing to vote for a fiddle fern as long as it had an R after its name, would be so good for our state and its people.

But they soldier on. Last night we had an opening for our county campaign office—probably close to 75 people showed and it was really great. Our Senate candidate, who has probably about a .0005% chance of beating Tim Scott, came up from Charleston to talk—he is a great candidate (Tom Dixon) and he has a great story and wonderful ideas. He has about $50,000 and Tim Scott has several million. Scott won’t debate him. But he’s the most upbeat, optimistic man I’ve ever met.

The only way we can ever win is if we show up and get in the game. It’s not going to happen anytime soon here, but it’s a wonderful feeling to be among like-minded people working to make things better for everyone. And eventually, we’ll start winning.

Even as red as South Carolina is, Nebraska’s right there with you, and we managed to get the death penalty repealed in the last legislative session. What works is work; one of our state senators bailed out of the Republican Party and joined the Libertarian Party last month; cracks are appearing here.

In 2012 NE-2 went for President Obama, delivering him one electoral vote. (You would think you could not gerrymander a state with only three districts but you would be wrong.) NE-2 is likely to go for Hillary Clinton, and the race is close in NE-1. That would be enough to deliver four electoral votes to Mrs. Clinton out of our five; four votes the GOP cannot afford to give up (which is why Mrs. Clinton made a campaign stop here last month).

By Trump’s logic, that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be. And he’s said things before that make it clear he thinks men aren’t supposed to contribute at all to the actual “childrearing” portion of things.

Unfortunately this attitude is not limited to Trump.

I would guess any sort of child leave proposal is vapourware, and one that discriminates against one sort of marriage (same sex) and single parents would be likely unconstitutional.

It is an attempt to make Mr. Trump more appealing to the middle. It won’t work.

We have Jim Clyburn and that’s it. Word/rumor is that when Clyburn retires, Bakari Sellers will probably go for and win his seat. But the rest of our House gang includes such luminaries as Mark “Appalachian Trail” Sanford, Joe “You Lie” Wilson and Trey “flop sweat” Gowdy among others. Ugh.

I also feel your pain, but hey, you have Memphis!

The only good thing on CNN is Anthony Bourdain.

To expound on this, I have to admit, that at first, I was scratching my head when CNN had gotten Bourdain away from Travel Channel and commissioned him and ZPZ Productions to do Parts Unknown for them. However, he’s done more international current events and actual journalism in his shows (while still doing it in his trademark irreverently smartassed style) than the rest of the network seems to be these days; if one hasn’t watched the show, I highly recommend it.

We FINALLY managed to get the confederate flag taken down—only took 9 murders, including a state senator, to accomplish it.

Sounds ridiculous unless you saw the amount of kleenex soaked in the hour+ it took the paramedics and ER staff to stop the bleeding.

I don’t want to see what the bills will look like, but she has Medicare and AARP HMO-style supplemental insurance. Will see how it goes. HCA will be making some major bucks off this, I’m sure, but the nurses are doing a great job.

My High School had the Honeywell, the local college had the a 1130 clone (Meta/4.)
What was weird is that the computer our high school had was made in France, so a lot of its OS commands were French (AFFECT DAFILE)-weird. It’s COBOL compiler was an 18-pass beast-you could tell which pass it was on because the system had a 10-digit numeric display on it, which it used one of the digits to display which pass of the compiler it was on. Originally it was part of General Electric when they were in the computer business before they bailed and sold out to to Honeywell.
