Reuters Projects Clinton Has 95% Chance of Winning With 326 Electoral Votes
In order to win the presidential election, a candidate needs 270 electoral votes. Today the Reuters/Ipsos States of the Nation project has released their latest results, and they’re now giving Hillary Clinton a 95% chance of winning, with the most likely outcome 326 electoral votes for Clinton and 212 for Donald Trump.
Clinton is ahead in all the states Donald Trump would need to win to reach the goal of 270 votes, and at this point it’s highly unlikely that he’ll be able to turn it around.
So we may be about to witness a historic landslide, and a rejection of the populist, ultra-nationalist bigotry that has stained the Republican Party for years to come.
However! This doesn’t mean we should be complacent, folks. Everyone still needs to get out and vote, to make absolutely certain this rejection of Donald Trump and everything he stands for is definitive and unimpeachable.
