This is what happens when America elects a misogynist president who unapologetically abuses and objectifies women: he defends other abusers.
Just the latest disgraceful episode in the ongoing sordid saga of this dishonest, corruption-riddled far right administration. And note that he’s almost certainly lying again when he says he “found out about it recently;” in reality, Trump and his aides knew about the allegations against Porter for more than a year.
And to make it even worse, CNN now reports that Trump is blaming the whole mess on his communications director, Hope Hicks.
