Bonamassa was at the Academy of Music in Philly about a year or so ago. Really regretting not seeing him now. If it wasn’t for Charles and LGF, I probably wouldn’t have heard of him at all; same goes for Gary Clark, Jr.

Thanks, boss!

Quick random thought, and I’ll stop hogging the thread: anyone else prefer live recordings over the original studio tracks? In my case, it’s probably from being exposed to Live at Leeds at an early age, but it always seems there’s an energy and immediacy you can’t quite get in the studio.

There’s a few songs where that feeling doesn’t track (Good Vibrations and Springsteen’s Atlantic City come to mind), but overall I really like the live stuff better.

I finally broke down and put in an order to sell out my high-yield fund position Monday. That means, almost to a certainty, that the economy is about to roar to life. Pretty much any trade I have ever made has been made at exactly the wrong time. The only exceptions I can think of are my selling Washington Mutual and still coming out ahead, and my selling Lannet two days before they lost their major contract, causing the stock to lose 50% of its value in a day.

It’s Duke Energy headquartered in North Carolina.

They also bought up Progress Energy, along with several other regional utilities.

They also operate coal mines…they are the ones dumping coal slurry sludge into the Dan River in NC and Virginia.

If anyone would have objected to his racist behavior, he would have used his “2nd amendment solution” and conservatives would defend him “standing his ground.”

I am watching the old movie Air Force One and it dawned on me that the wingnuts think Donald Trump is the Harrison Ford character.

Unreal but it explains a lot.

1. Marshall (the Ford character) actually served in the Military.

2. Trump would have bailed in that escape pod and never looked back.

3. Marshall was popular with Americans.

4. Most of Marshalls cabinet was willing to invoke the 25th Amendment.

5. Donald Trump would fail miserably at trying to overpower or physically restrain a terrorist.

6. Marshall was not a narcissistic asshole. In fact, he was very selfless.

7. Marshall chose a black woman to carry out a key part of the plan to successfully get most of the people off the plane. His VP was also a woman.

8. About the only thing Marshall and Trump have in common is that they had a good working relationship with Russia.

9. Marshall was relatable and likable.

In other words he’s the guy we all WISH Trump was like.

This is the reason why Trump wants interest rates to fall!

President Trump stands to save millions of dollars annually in interest on outstanding loans on his hotels and resorts if the Federal Reserve lowers rates as he has been demanding, according to public filings and financial experts.

In the five years before he became president, Trump borrowed more than $360 million via four loans from Deutsche Bank for his hotels in Washington, D.C., and Chicago, as well his 643-room Doral golf resort in South Florida.

The payments on all four properties vary with interest rate changes, according to Trump’s official financial disclosures. That means he has already benefited from falling interest rates that were spurred in part by a cut the Federal Reserve announced in July, the first in more than a decade — and his payments could drop by millions of dollars more annually if the central bank grants Trump’s wish and further lowers short-term rates, experts said.

I amazingly received a follow up email from Twitter when I challenged my suspension.

Your account has been suspended and will not be restored because it was found to be violating Twitter’s Terms of Service, specifically the Twitter Rules against hateful conduct.

It is against our rules to promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or disease.

Additionally, if we determine that the primary purpose of an account is to incite harm towards others on the basis of these categories, that account may be suspended without prior warning.

The offending Tweet which was obviously caught by Twitter immediately (nobody reported it). And I might add, it was funny!
