Trump Absconded With Multiple Boxes of Records When He Was Evicted

Politics • Views: 20,533

Like a low-life tenant being evicted, Donald Trump took a lot of stuff from the White House he had no right to keep: National Archives had to retrieve Trump White House records from Mar-a-Lago.

President Donald Trump improperly removed multiple boxes from the White House that were retrieved by the National Archives and Records Administration last month from his Mar-a-Lago residence because they contained documents and other items that should have been turned over to the agency, according to three people familiar with the visit.

The recovery of the boxes from Trump’s Florida resort raises new concerns about his adherence to the Presidential Records Act, which requires the preservation of memos, letters, notes, emails, faxes and other written communications related to a president’s official duties.

[…]

One person familiar with the transfer characterized it as “out of the ordinary. … NARA has never had that kind of volume transfer after the fact like this.”

Trump himself was unconcerned about the [Presidential Records] Act, according to former advisers.

Add it to Trump’s ever-growing list of crimes and misdemeanors.

Everything Trump touched died.

Everything that he did was in furtherance of his own ongoing crime spree. Covering up prior crimes by carrying out new ones. Conspiring to take materials he had no right to take, that didn’t belong to him.

And yes, I do think it’s safe to call it a conspiracy, because there are people who follow this stuff and know what has to happen to these materials, and they were ignored and people took this stuff at Trump’s insistence. They didn’t act on their own.

It’s heartbreaking. I just cannot get why. How could you look at a child and hate them that much? I’m glad I don’t understand it.

Among other things, IMO this is one of the most awful things The Church is responsible for. And not just Catholic, there was so much awful done to these kids over generations and other denominations and no one did a fucking thing to stop it. The US government ran some of them too. It’s not just White Peoples that need to reckon with their history, a lot of organized religion needs a serious check and correction. Maybe more than that.

I wonder how much modern angst is because everyone MUST read all the time on screens or miss so much, like even emails and messages, which causes weird stressors for those who hate to read or find it uncomfortable? Here’s what Rand Paul had to say about progressive protesters in DC (August 2020).

Sen. Rand Paul was confronted by protesters early Friday morning after leaving the Republican National Convention at the White House.

“Just got attacked by an angry mob of over 100, one block away from the White House. Thank you to @DCPoliceDept for literally saving our lives from a crazed mob,” the Kentucky Republican tweeted early Friday.

Paul later added that he felt his life was in danger and would have wound up in the hospital or dead had police not intervened.

Fuck this guy.

This may be why Musk is so interested in Texas. Less worry about getting into trouble for allowing racism at Tesla.

Last week, former Tesla employee Kaylen Barker filed a lawsuit against the electric carmaker for allegedly disregarding her complaints of racial discrimination, saying that “being a Black worker at a Tesla’s renowned California factory, is to be forced to step back in time and suffer painful abuses reminiscent of the Jim Crow Era.”

The 25-year-old, who is Black and gay, claims a white coworker at the company’s Lathrop plant called her the N-word and assaulted her with a hot grinding tool. After Barker complained to human resources, Tesla allegedly retaliated by withholding her wages.

Barker’s civil suit is one of multiple cases in recent months to paint a disturbing picture of a hostile work environment for women and people of color at the clean-energy giant’s factories. And it comes a mere four months after a jury awarded another former employee, Owen Diaz, nearly $137 million over racism he encountered in the workplace which included coworkers hurling racial epithets and telling him to “go back to Africa.”

Does the racist who said this know where his employer came from?

I have come to believe that we are fortunate that the January 6 protestors launched a violent insurrection. If they had been peaceful and did not assault anyone or enter the Capitol, there were have been no 1/6 commission investigating the real efforts of Trump to overturn the election. All we would have would be some shocking tales from various writers chronicling part of what happened, but the press would not have been looking into every facet of the criminal enterprise and there would be no widespread understanding of the widespread nature of the real coup attempt.
