I would say there is no such thing as a “good” billionaire because of what you must be to get to that level. That said, there are those - Bezos, Gates, Carnagey - who also understand that and try to be “not as bad” in the end. If Bezos and Gates have even half the impact that Carnagey did with his free public libraries, they’ll make up for much of what they’ve done to get there.

There were some bad things that happened before involving my son and relatives when I would send gifts and they were rejected or I heard endless complaints. For me it just got to the point that it just wasn’t worth it.

Yeah, that’ll work. Twitter is an app that does one thing, and that thing has some monetization factors. The moment Elron tries to bolt a phone or banking or something else not truly related to Twitter’s core function is when Twitter will die. That is, unless he seriously shores up the infrastructure, instead of burning it down, as he’s essentially doing. And, why yes, the people who work on the infrastructure are a major factor in the infrastructure.

The ones I’m looking forward to are season 2 of The Ancient Magus’ Bride and season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. Also, Season 3 af Arifureta should be out next year. Really looking forward to that one.

About the most plausible argument I think we could make for his post being a Nazi dogwhistle is that he chose that specific post to respond to, for some bizarre reason. That’s a pretty big stretch, IMO, but God only knows how often I’ve been wrong before.
The 88 million is a legitimate number. And Musk seems to respond to random posts — but who knows? Maybe seeing the 88 attracted him because it allowed him to make it a dog whistle? or maybe his remark was a totally innocent reaction to the original tweet.
