Love our President. He knows how to make a nice, simple and telling troll.

People who are so religious that they’re a danger to others have too much power in too many states.

Wordlebot sez my guess #2 was a 96 for luck: can’t argue, as it gave the only solution….

Also: missed acing the Spelling Bee by one word again (third day in a row).

So I take the cake by not getting the cake.

I think that I need to cogitate upon this some more.

You can’t tell Tina “No explosions.” That’s just not going to happen.
I love live action Claptrap. The look, more than the voice.

The Borderlands Trailer

[Embedded content]

It’s a trailer so we still don’t know for sure but it’s still a better bet than, say, a Zack Snyder DC movie…

On that note, seriously, has anyone here watched

My Adventures with Superman? OMFG.

THAT. Is what Superman is supposed to be. I know nothing of the creative team but the first season of that show, hell the first 2 minutes nails Superman in a way no one has gotten Superman since 1977.

Adult Swim. If you haven’t, watch it. You will not regret it. I can not wait for the second season and I am not a big Superman stan. Normally I am a Marvel guy but this, this does DC _RIGHT_.

Grounding pin UP is the modern convention, it has some minor safety advantage. I don’t know if it has become Code yet.

Well, it looks like the chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court has completely drunk the Flavor Aid—he told a QAnon conspiracy theorist that he was all in on the “Seven Mountains Mandate” (product of *spit* Lance Wallnau).

During a recent interview on the program of self-proclaimed “prophet” and QAnon conspiracy theorist Johnny Enlow, Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Tom Parker indicated that he is a proponent of the “Seven Mountain Mandate,” a theological approach that calls on Christians to impose fundamentalist values on all aspects of American life.

Enlow is a pro-Trump “prophet” and leading proponent of the “Seven Mountain Mandate,” a “quasi-biblical blueprint for theocracy” that asserts that Christians must impose fundamentalist values on American society by conquering the “seven mountains” of cultural influence in U.S. life: government, education, media, religion, family, business, and entertainment.

Enlow has also repeatedly pushed the QAnon conspiracy theory, sometimes even connecting it to the Seven Mountain Mandate. Per Right Wing Watch, Enlow has claimed that world leaders are “satanic” pedophiles who “steal blood” and “do sacrifices” and that “there is presently no real democracy on the planet” because over 90 percent of world leaders are involved in pedophilia and are being blackmailed.

I have a transgender friend in Alabama and I’ve always been concerned about her, but this is ratcheting up my nervousness.

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments Wednesday in an important environmental case that centers on the obligation to be a “good neighbor.”

Lawyers representing three states, companies and industry groups will ask the justices to block a federal rule that’s intended to limit ozone air pollution. Experts said it’s only the third time in more than 50 years that the court has scheduled arguments on an emergency application like this one.

At the heart of the dispute is the part of the Clean Air Act known as the “good neighbor” provision. It’s designed to help protect people from severe health problems they face because of pollution that floats downwind from neighboring states.

Predictably, Peters blamed the effort to remove Karamo on the Jews.

If the fratricidal Michigan GOP coup is funded by Jewish bake sales, I know who to blame.

There’s more for them to shoot down. Looks like Russia is running out of skilled pilots and many of the ones they have are making some bad decisions in the air and exposing themselves to AA fire.

I’m okay with this

What I have been reading is that the Russians have been throwing their air force in to support the attacks on Avdiivka. That they achieved local air superiority for the first time anywhere in the war.

So the Ukrainians moved a Patriot battery up and started picking the jets off.

I suspect that at some point after the situation on the ground gets stabilized, the Ukrainians will have to remove the battery.

HIMARS are doing a ton of work right now. Video of three more strikes on clusters of troops in open ground getting hit by tungsten showers. Won’t post it because it is pretty devastating. 30 to 40 men gathering in a circle and then they’re all lying on the ground after the dust settles.

You know how Democrats aren’t supposed to be fired up for the election? I have a small but telling piece of data contradicting that. Last night my county Democratic party held a caucus training for precinct leaders on Zoom. The training was recorded so people can watch it later, and there is an in-person train coming up as well.

I tried to sign in to the training last night and was unable to, because our Zoom subscription only allows 100 attendees. We have never hit the limit before. And this is just for precinct leaders, and only covers caucus training. Our caucuses don’t cover the presidential nomination either - just lower offices.

So, my point is, that is a lot enthusiasm in my little corner of the world.

Got to get to stuff. Back in the day because I was fortunate enough to be in he middle of a rock and roll talent explosion, I fell in love with this song.
Cream.
Found out later who the original belonged to.
There were record stores. You could listen.
And to this day I asked musicians, well around here anyway, if they ever heard it.
Nope.
Stunning. Simply stunning.
I worked on that without the advantage of anything but my ear. Pulled it off a few time with the right folk, but……
Allow me.

Man seen robbing Girl Scout cookie stand outside of Walmart

FORT WORTH, Texas (Gray News) - A man was caught on camera robbing Girl Scouts who were selling cookies outside of a Walmart in Fort Worth, Texas.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the theft happened on Feb. 11 at around 2 p.m. near the entrance of the Walmart.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking past a Girl Scout cookie stand, quickly grabbing their bag containing the money they earned from the day, and then running away into the parking lot.

Correct answer in spoiler. Intellectual laziness at its finest…

There is enough information to deduce the number of cubes on the trailer, easy.
Layers from bottom to top:
3x7 = 21.
3x6 = 18.
3x4 = 12.
For a total of 21+18+12 = 51 cubes on the trailer.

Ok, I saw the 31, and that one kind of assumes some wire supports because they have some of the sides with nothing beneath them.

Anyways, my 51 (max) assumes the puzzle isn’t a trick puzzle, so that’s what I’m going with, because if you open the door to uneven stacking invisible from the perspectives, you also open up for three different trailers, wire supports etc. and even the case that because it is a drawing, it isn’t a real trailer nor real boxes, so no boxes are on no trailer…

What they needed to do was 1) highlight the edges of the top boxes better, and 2) show the fourth side, 3) state that there are no boxes without another box underneath.

Assuming the lines represent the edges of each individual box and aren’t just painted on, you could have just 23 boxes. The 9 at the rear and 14 along the side, except for the last row which was already accounted for. The entire middle and other side, save the last row, could be missing. Needs a top view to provide more info.
