Nuclear Buddies Make the News
Pardon me while I point out that the picture of Saddam Hussein and Jacques Chirac together at a French nuclear reactor, which is now making the rounds of the major news channels (I just heard Sean Hannity say he’s going to feature it on his Fox show), was first brought out right here at LGF. In fact, the photo is part of an excellent Flash animation about the bombing of Iraq’s nuclear reactor—Operation Opera—and I had to use a screen capture program to grab it. So, uh, I’m pretty sure I know where these guys got the photo they’re using.
You’re welcome, legacy media. Don’t say LGF never gave you anything.
UPDATE: Some people are commenting that the photo may been discovered elsewhere, and that I need to get over myself. Well, I don’t necessarily deny that I need to get over myself, but as evidence for the case that the photo came from LGF I present this thread at the Sean Hannity discussion forum from February 18. (The picture isn’t visible now because the person who posted it hotlinked to the image on our server, leeching our bandwidth. That’s how I discovered this.)
