It’s the End of the World As We Know It, And I Feel Fine
But how did he do it? It’s one thing to have money, but it is how one uses it that gets the candidate elected. Analyzing Barack Obama’s campaign provides much more insight into the true identity of the country.
One of Barack Obama’s main talking points when it came to the economy was a tax cut for 95% of working families. Think about that for a minute. Which party is usually associated with tax cuts? (I’ll give you a hint, it’s not the Democrats.) He also ran television ads in battle ground states that called universal health care “extreme”. Obama even hammered the fact that McCain wanted to increase taxes on health care benefits. He then countered his arguments about Iraq with tough language on Afghanistan and even threatening to invade an ally, Pakistan. None of these positions would fall under the Democratic category.
