Success at life in our country is being crapped on by examples of greed.

The amount of greed vs success is not measured by our left wing media.

We are not all the same! I will not dig ditches for $8 million a year, nor should you.

You will not invent the Ditch Witch and earn $8 dollars an hour, nor should you.

Socialism is a disgusting life with no dream of being better.

No one’s talking about socialism here. Simply saying that we need reform to our economic system so that, for example, a CEO is enjoined from running his company into the ground and reneging on disbursing to his workers their deserved earnings in order to siphon off millions for himself and the management at the top. Cutting away such examples of rot in our system will strengthen capitalism, not weaken it.

No one’s talking about socialism here?

enjoined?

disbursing to his workers?

You are a socialist.

I am not giving you any money because you think you deserve more.

Sand boy…

One of my businesses was making a little money and one day two workers rose up (in my living room) and said that they need to be partners or else…

Shut the whole thing down because they thought showing up for work was the same as staying up late, fronting the money, doing the books, calling suppliers and giving my employees every dollar they had at the time was equal to what I did. Socialism kills people.

I built it. They had nothing and I gave them good money.

Dirty, ungrateful bastards that I paid hundreds of thousands to.

Where are they now?

Maybe you know them. Ask them.

I simply can’t understand why some people such as yourself can’t acknowledge that certain rules are needed to protect workers from being exploited and cheated, and call any rules at all socialism. Does your view come down to the notion that CEOs, in being so high up the social ladder, therefore obviously must always be more virtuous, superior to the “dirty” workers? If a company goes bankrupt due to bad management decisions, is it perfectly fine with you that the management give themselves many dozens of millions of dollars, and renege on the retirement plans pre-negotiated with their workers? Is the common employee just a bug in your view, not deserving of any basic protections or rights?

Turning to your fragmented story, vaguely and incoherently described (and I suspect, possibly fantasized). All I can piece together from this story is that apparently these two workers were important enough for your business profits that by not giving into their demands, and thereby pushing them away, you had to quit operating the business. I don’t see by your own philosophy what you have to complain about here.
