Interesting. Question raised: Was Miceli (“an attorney for convicted fundraiser Tony Rezko”) Rezko’s attorney for the land deal - or for other matters? An attorney receiving a tax bill for a client proves nothing - and is probably not highly unusual (although tax bills are usually sent either to the actual owner or the mortgagee); however, if Rezko was “the client” for the land deal, it could be the tip of an iceberg - and very sloppy. It is also possible Miceli represented both Rezko and Obama in the land deal (their interests did not necessarily conflict - each was an independent (?) buyer from a single seller) - but again a bit sloppy, and also another possible tip of that iceberg.
Would be worth checking title records to see just how title to the property was taken on the deed itself.
Of course, the real question is who paid the tax bill - and, again, it is not conclusive of anything if the attorney paid the county. The question then is who paid Miceli? And that will not be found in any public record.
An entirely separate issue, of course, and one that was raised long ago - but not pursued by the MSM - is the extent of Obama’s legal work for Rezko when Obama worked for Miceli’s firm.

*Yawn* Sorry but I would hope Obama would have official notices like this mailed to his attorney. And the fact that he uses the same attorney as Rezko seems to add little. All of this pales compared to the details of the land deal itself. Now there’s some smoke.
