Blame Turned Upside Down
I cannot in all good conscience stomach all of the entailed consequences and ramifications of accepting and employing the perspective that Robert Wright proffers here. For one thing, it would require us to equaniminously accept the horrendous treatment to which many Muslim men subject their wives and daughters, and I agree with Paul Ricoeur that the one thing that tolerant people cannot in all good conscience tolerate is the coercive intolerance of others.
Nevertheless, I found it to be sufficiently interesting and thought-provoking to warrant a spinoff link, so that others here could glean from it what they might.
