I admit I have a hard time watching this film. I've tried before, but never finished it.

The problem, as is so common, is that the need for drama forces the story to advance dystopian processes much farther and faster than realistic scenarios would allow.

I wish this story would have been set in the year 2155, far enough in the future for significant melt of the ice sheets and the advancement of deserts to truly wreck havoc with civilization.

I'm liking it very much so far. I'd recommend it for people to watch. The documentary clips are the most interesting and shed a great deal of news and information regarding on event that took place in the past. If someone is looking for the best of the most recent releases of the day at Hulu this would be the choice. And no, the good guy doesn't always get the girl.

I'm not doubting that it can be entertaining as well as enlightening, and it is a good way to use existing footage.

Yet the culture-warrior in me is highly sensitive to the accuracy of statements made about certain subjects, especially this one.
