A closer anology would be a Christian church nearby. Most Nazi's were German, most Germans are Christian, ergo, the Jews were killed by radical members of the Christian faith.

it occurs to me that saying all Islamics want to destroy America is like saying the KKK represents all Christians

look further into the analogy:
The KKK hates Blacks and Jews
Al Qaeda hates Whites and Christians
