Cute kitteh!

We have one who came to us, abandoned by a family that moved away.

When he found us, he was literally a bag 'o bones, cut up, patches of fur missing -we thought he was close to death. He didn't want anything to do with us, or our other cats, but we provided food & water in a place other than where the other cats ate.

Surprise, surprise, surprise.

He put on weight. Fur grew back. Cuts healed. He started liking us. But not the other cats.

Somehow he's made his way inside and he pretty much prefers to stay inside. I think he's afraid if he goes outside again, he'll be abandoned again.

He still doesn't much like the other cats, he's funny to watch, staring and hissing at them and trying to chase them off. They are learning to ignore him.

He's so happy to have a safe and secure home. It doesn't really take much to take care of a cat.

He looks exactly like the cat I had growing up, Bully. The best damn pet I ever had. I still miss the ornery bastard.
