There's nothing terribly dramatic going on here in Jersey, at least not that I'm aware of. We don't have any Senate elections this year, and only 3 of the 13 House seats are considered competitive.

I think it's pretty clear that the GOP is going to make some gains, but I don't think it's going to be the bloodbath so many are predicting. I think a sigificant portion of the big, silent middle has been turned off by the TP & far-right socons. That's a totally subjective prediction, of course. Call it a gut feeling...better the devil you know than the devil you don't and all that.

I'm figuring 68 seat pickup for the GOP in the House and seven seats in the Senate.

That's on the high side of what we've seen in terms of midterm pickups going back through more than 100 years, but this is no ordinary midterm.

I'll say Republicans end night with 222 (I think that's a 44 seat pickup) seats in House, 48 seats in Senate...

Locally I see Rubio winning the Senate seat in Florida... I'm pulling for Ron Klein, But it looks like Allen West may pull off the win in my district... and I see Alex Sink beating Rick Scott for Gov.

Wow was I optimistic... Now I'm just sad. Rubio, West, and it looks like Scott could win the Governorship...
