Christopher Hitchens Talks Religion And Servitude With Tony Blair
Maybe it’s just me, but there does seem to be a subtle change in his tone.

No, there is no softening there. He was, in his youth, a Trotskyite or socialist in his youth so he remembers his ideals behind his ideas at the time. He goes on to explain why it doesn’t really work. I don’t see a softening.

Humanity is fortunate to have the voice of Mr. Hitchens, sadly silent though it may fall in the all-too near future. As a (still relatively) young man, I feel quite fortunate to have discovered this fact before such time.

I agree but I didn’t mean in that regards. The way in which he talks about the appeal of Christianity is much softer than his “celestial North Korea” talk.

Is that really Kilgore’s “evil sock puppet” or does he have an actual stalker here on LGF???
