Storm pummels the East Coast as more than a foot of snow has fallen over large parts of the NYC metro area and some areas may see 2+ feet; low visibilities and high winds are combining to create blizzard conditions throughout the area and will continue through tomorrow.
1,400 flights have been canceled in the NYC metro airports; Amtrak, LIRR, Metro North, and NJ Transit have all canceled and curtailed service for today and tomorrow.
In other words, it’s a mess out there - but boy is it pretty!
