Fleet of ships may soon enter waters very close to Israeli coast as part of drill, says admiral
This is going to fit into the Sudetenland model. The ships, Iran will say, are there to protect the Lebanese (Hezbollah supporters) from their Lebanese enemies and the Israelis.

Sabre rattling. The Iranian fleet consists of older frigates, corvettes and destroyers. They may have some Chinese or Russian built subs. There is certainly not a big chance they will want to expose their mediocre fleet to Israeli or - if it comes to that - US Med Fleet fire. Plus, moving any ships away from immediate home front patrol will significantly weaken their maritime defensive capabilities.

I agree with you. But it is provocative. I don’t think their warships will really do any damage, but those 40,000 Hezbollah missiles sure can. Any kind of…I don’t even know what to call it because there is so little difference between manufactured news and real news in the Middle East…I really wouldn’t want Hezbollah to decide the best course of action is to pull the trigger.

For the next while, Hizbullah is going to be busy in Lebanon. It is going to get dicey once they have taken over there, and Lebanon becomes a bona fide Iranian client state.
