It's BS. First, he's a Beduin, and while he may have some Jewish ancestry, since a lot of people in North Africa do, I doubt he can establish a clean-cut matrilineal line like that.

Secondly, the Law of Return does not obligate Israel to provide shelter for war criminals. There's a moral turpitude clause that would certainly apply to Ghaddafi.

I'll bet by the end of the day it was Qadaffi and the Mossad that brought Pan Am 103 down- and Reagan deliberately missed killing him when he bombed Libya.

Yes, the Israeli Law of Return allows any Jew to settle in the State of Israel, however it excludes those with criminal pasts.

Actually in my opinion Lansky should have been allowed to stay in Israel.
