Well, obviously they were surrounded by the enemy which explains why that guy was firing both to the right and left.

As to Geraldo leaving his vehicle while being fired upon, obviously he has a better chance of getting away on foot than in a vehicle.

I don't understand why you'd think Geraldo's faking anything.

Smaller target and G's obvious superior spontaneous tactical maneuver skills when under stress. /

Looks like he got them to shoot around, showing off for the camera. He probably thought he could mash that together and present it as real to make a political point.

He, like so many others, don't really understand the internet. They might be rebels, but they do have internet access. They won't be happy if he did what I think he did. Get out of the country Geraldo, for your own sake.

I thought about the same thing. In his original report he said that the rebels sucked so bad that we shouldn't arm them. If they find out what he's been doing he will not be safe.

Wow. I would never have thought this of Geraldo. There goes that Pulitzer.

He should have hid out in Al Capones vault. It's safe in there.

It's kinda frustrating. Look at all the news sites reporting the Geraldo Under Fire story. Not one of them notices that it's fake.

You never know. Geraldo only needs 9 sq feet to stage a war.
