I wrote last night about some very questionable video from Libya Geraldo created for Fox News. The video was so fishy that even Fox News readers thought it was fake. New video was released today and I think it’s very obviously staged footage. I’ll start of with the strongest evidence first.

If you skip to 6:00 of Video 1 you’ll see their Libyan handler firing at enemy positions off to the right. Pause the video at about 6:04. Geraldo is hiding behind a berm. Take note of the chunk of concrete behind his head and the bush behind his right shoulder.
Now watch the beginning of Video 2. Their Libyan handler is firing a grenade launcher (which fizzles) off to the left. The opposite direction from video 1. Freeze at about 0:13. The same conrete and bush behind Geraldo, even the trees are the same but the reported enemy is in the opposite direction.

In video 1 Gerlando and crew find an enemy position. Rebels in vehicles won’t go down the road so Geraldo goes down the road in search of the enemy on foot.
In Video 2 Geraldo is standing by his car when the enemy supposedly opens fire on him. He decides to leave the car and run through an open field towards the enemy while his Libyan handler wanders around unconcerned in the background.

These videos are not only fake but they’re obvious fakes.
