100 Hate Mails For Church where Obamas attended Easter Service
After Sean Hannity did a segment on Shiloh Baptist Church, where the Obamas attended service on Easter, the church has received over a hundred obscene and threatening phone calls and faxes.
Apparently Hannity found a tape of the church’s pastor giving a talk some years ago, a talk he was asked to give at a university on the subject of racism. And he had the nerve, in this talk, to suggest that talk radio and Fox news provided cover for racists to air their views.
How dare he! All those people who are now sending him faxes of monkey-faces with targets on their faces are so completely justified! “I don’t believe that it is a coincidence out of all the churches in the country that Obama finds himself sitting in, why is he always in pews listening to such controversial spiritual leaders?” Hannity said.
The fact that Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton all attended services at this same church doesn’t count because they were WHITE and it was OK for them.
