Glad to know that Paul Ryan is working to let voters know the GOP is still intent on destroying Medicare.

Can somebody explain to me why anyone think Paul Ryan could sell anything to the American public? There is nothing impressive or charismatic about this guy at all. He couldn’t sell a 1 cent cheeseburger to a fat man, so why does anybody think he could sell something a fat man doesn’t want? Sending a man to sell a bag unpopular plan that could sell a good plan is just stupid.

I was going to ask how repackaging Medicare into a privatized voucher program is any different than what he had before. Does Ryan think the public is so stupid, they won’t notice? These guys have such contempt and loathing for their constituents, but guess what…

Republicans began feeling the heat in their home districts after returning during the Easter recess, including an incident in which Ryan himself was booed by constituents at a town hall in Wisconsin. Public polling consistently showed decisive majorities of Americans opposed to cuts in Medicare, preferring instead to tax the rich.

“House Republicans have yet to find their voice on health care” because they outright oppose anything the Obama administration supports. Look at the hell Romney is going through because of universal healthcare in his state.

It’s the Republicans loathing for the poor, indigent and elderly that’s getting people really angry.

It’s so funny that the Republicans/TP crowd continue to believe Americans are vehemently opposed to any and all tax hikes when in fact a good lot of us (including many of the rich) would rather pay more taxes and keep our benefits.

The message seems to be: “You are old and sick. Take one for the team before you croak.”
