A newly leaked secret report prepared by Spain’s National Intelligence Center (CNI), excerpts of which were published by the Madrid-based El País newspaper on July 31, says the Spanish government is struggling to stop the flow of tens of millions of dollars to Islamic groups in Spain from Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and above all Saudi Arabia.
I am not posting this article to kick off a discussion about “Eurabia” or even about the battle for the soul of Europe’s Muslim communities. What struck me about this article was the fact that apparently a whole bunch of Islamic Republics have cash to fling at Spanish Muslims in an attempt to radicalize them. Seriously. While Muslim children are starving in Somalia, these cretins have nothing better to spend money on than jockeying for influence in expatriate communities.
