GOP Tea Party audience applauds ‘So we should just let him die?’
The most shameful incident in tonights GOP debate:
A party of atavistic, boot strappy death eaters.

What a creepy death cult. It would be almost laughable if they weren't likely to be running our government.

I was having a discussion about health care with a Tea Party neighbor of mine........
We finally got to a point where I asked what should be done about someone who doesn't have health insurance, but gets into a car accident....maybe doesn't suffer what we would now call "life threatening" injuries, but an injury that would be life threatening if it isn't treated by a doctor.....the example I used was a broken leg.
His response? Leave him on the side of the road.
It's just appalling, but that pretty much ended the discussion....I mean how do you try to reason with someone like that?

You know, thank God we have EMTALA in place. I often gripe about how EMTALA has enabled people to show up in the ER (either walk in or ambulance) for non-emergencies, but if EMTALA were not in place, then more hospitals and ambulance companies would leave an uninsured person on the side of the road.
