China sabotaging our long-range patrol planes, and making a few illicit bucks in the process. They also loaned us the money to pay for them. We are truly hosed if our procurement authorities don't know any better than to buy parts from a potential enemy.

I seem to remember a statement about not only hanging us, but selling us the rope. To think that our "leaders" are stupid enough to buy high tech parts that go in our weapons system is frightening. I don't trust, therefore do I buy,Made in China chew toys for my mutt. What the hell is wrong with us?

How ridiculous. I wonder what the potential for re engineering some back doors into these parts is?

We need to start drifting away from China, starting with paying off the debt we have with China through increased taxes. Then, we need to start tariffing their goods, and get closer to the 2 Strongest Opponents of China: Vietnam, and India.

Be willing to sell arms to these nations, a well as others like them.

This is what happens when making a profit is more important than national security.

Of course political favors and the good ol' boy system has nothing to do with it. /

Special interests lobby (and bribe ... oops .. donate to campaign funds and PACs) Congress. Congress makes the rules. Our procurement authorities follow them. Hey! ... Business is business! /
