Saratoga Man Accused of Threats to Obama, Kids
A Saratoga Springs man has been charged with making terroristic threats on a White House website message board, threatening to kill President Barack Obama and elementary school students.Brent G. Dickinson, 33, of Maple Ave., was arrested about 11 p.m. Friday following a joint investigation by the U.S. Secret Service, the Saratoga Springs Police Department and Saratoga County District Attorney’s office.
He was charged for two separate crimes, according to prosecutors.
The first charge alleges he committed the above conduct with his intended target to be the President of the United States of America. The second charge alleges his intended target to be an unspecified elementary school and unspecified elementary school age children.
In both instances it is alleged that Dickinson intended to murder the intended targets.
Prosecutors said Dickinson allegedly sent two communications to the White House message board on Friday which were intercepted by the U.S. Secret Service.
