Typical self-serving non-apology. Good on John Locke President John Hood for getting it right—it’s not that difficult.

Almost without fail the people that do this type of thing claim they had no idea the image had racist connotations and are shocked, just shocked, that anyone would interpret them that way.

Funny how I can’t seem to recall any white southern politicians being depicted with fried chicken or watermelons, even though the claim is that those things are simply representative of southern food. Ditto for depicting white politicians as shoe shine “boys” or bone-through-the-nose Africans.

Clarification:

Typical self-serving non-apology by Tara Servatius. Good on John Locke President John Hood for getting it right—it’s not that difficult.

I hate to think what our first Hispanic, Asian, Jewish, Desi, or Native American president will have to endure from these loathsome bigots & racists.
