This plank of GOP/TP candidates (if you can even go there) should scare the pants off of any sane person. The only question is; How many sane people are there? The Cable channels who have their money and time tied up in this Clown Car Cavalcade have been trying to add substance to the gibberish put forth by these hacks and actually dumbing down people in the process. To think that the current GOP/TP is not laughed off the stage is one thing. To have more than just Fox News propping up this house of cards is ridiculous. Then again the more rope these hacks get their hands on the better the chance they hang not only themselves, but the GOP/TP at local and state levels as well.

The loss is coming from the nutjob demographic--reading the freepers and Hot Air shows they are assigning Fox to the "Obamabot lamestream media".

re: #2 Decatur Deb

They need their own party. One we can recognize and relate to. With armbands. And bonfires. And bunting. Lots of bunting. Torch light marches is a nice touch.

The Obama/Clinton contest was unique because it not only got Barack Obama elected, it also rehabilitated Hillary Clinton’s image and turned her into one of the most popular political figures in the United States. It can be argued that both Obama and Clinton came out winners after the 2008 Democratic primary.

I have to disagree somewhat with this assessment. Hillary Clinton's image didn't get rehabilitated until after she was named Secretary of State. During the 2008 primaries, she went a bit too strong with negative campaigning, as well as having some serious miscues (example: "sniper fire" comment regarding 1996 visit to Bosnia). Between this and the "PUMA" contingent that lasted until well into the Democratic Convention, she had some serious negative numbers, even among the Democratic voting base. Republicans absolutely despised her, and only wanted to see her get the nomination because it was the only chance that McCain would get to the White House.

cable news is like training wheel news

"You're too stupid to handle actual news, so we feed you this rudimentary news paste. By idiots for idiots!"

re: #8 windupbird is in the gravity well

"rudimentary news paste"

I shall now hear this phrase whenever I flick through hotel channels and happen on cable news (as "Chicken Noodle News" pops into my head every time I've chanced on CNN)
