I really don't like so called conscience clauses and this really supports that. The gay man in New Jersey is a great example of that in my eyes.

There's more on this story at CNS

These doctors are despicable. The so-called conscience clause should come with a caveat...

"do no harm" --unless it's against your conscience . .

A caveat? But why would they do that? This is exactly the reason these clauses are created. This is just them working as designed.

Sigh. Speechless.

I hope that sad bitch loses her license.

Can you imagine Jesus himself looking at this man and saying "sorry I will not give your medicine because you have sinned."

Remember this is the same Jesus who scolded a crowd of people that wanted to stone a Prostitute to death by showing they were no different than she was.

If you were to replace Jesus in this story with some of his followers, the response would NOT be "Do these people condemn you? (head shake) Then neither do I", rather it would be "that's what you get for being a whore. Now, let's stone this slut!"

Actually this story is not found in the earliest manuscripts of the fourth gospel, so we can't rely on it to learn about what Jesus really did.

Even so, given the other stories about Jesus, I still find it REALLY hard to believe he would have denied someone medicine because of who they were.

Why would she NOT be named as a defendant? Her behavior was abhorrent. Missed doses could render the drugs completely non effective permanently. That's a real-life death panel to be sure.
