Personally I simply take the latest Republican biased Rasmussen poll, take the lead percentage that they claim and divide that by half, then I multiply the total group polled by 1.3% and deduct those answers from the poll also. Usually this will get you back within the realm of reality and somewhat close to the answers a non-biased, non-leading poll would have resulted in.

///It is very simple really… :p

I find it strange, looking on conservative message boards, blogs and sites, that they are already claiming victory. It’s astounding - they’re constructing a virtual reality where Romney has already defeated Obama, and all of America (except dem Commies) are on “their side”. I’m not 100% convinced Obama will win come November (I think it could go either way), but they’re bound to have their bubble burst at some point. The results might not be pretty.

With as ridiculous as the Republican party has become i would expect no less than a 40 point lead by Obama.

Mitt Romney needs a minimum of 65% of the white vote and a minimum of 40% (HA!) of the Latino vote to win the election. Has anybody seen a poll showing him doing either?

I wouldn’t put much stock in any one poll. Remember that they have a margin of error and that one in twenty polls will be off by more than the margin of error.

Instead watch the RCP average of polls.
