I doubt we’ll be seeing Spider-Man or Captain America wearing any “I stand with Planned Parenthood” T-shirts soon.

True- but breast cancer awareness is a good cause, all politics aside.

The disease does not discriminate.

It should also be noted that most comic book writers are of a more liberal slant as well. I remember controversy in wingnut land when Obama was featured working alongside Spider-Man and Captain America was critical of the tea party.

I love comic books.

As angry as I am at Komen, they've still raised more money for breast cancer R&D than any other and it shows. Women are leading longer, more productive lives because of them. Survivors in my family, all card carrying liberals, still donate. In the end, who suffers most? We also all give to PP so I don't see why you can't do both.
