Yea, the very old guy in the funny hat who thinks children's fairy tales are real will let you know if it is OK to start a war that could kill lots of people and probably last a long time.

By the way I googled this guy and this kook in a funny hat has said very racist offensive things in the past like Obama is a slave, etc.

Someone who thinks holocausts are part of god's divine plan and that the dead deserved it to appease some bloodthirsty god's sense of justice is not the kind of person I want consulted on whether or not to start a war that will involve WMD. Just saying.

Controversy raged in Israel today after a rabbi who heads the biggest ultra-Orthodox political party said the six million Jews who perished in the Nazi Holocaust died because they were reincarnations of sinners.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, leader of the Shas party, also declared that Prime Minister Ehud Barak has “no sense” because he is trying to make peace with the Palestinians, who are “snakes.”

Yosef was speaking in his weekly Saturday night sermon broadcast over the party’s radio stations and is even beamed overseas by satellite.

He called the Nazis “evil” and the victims “poor people,” but he said the six million “were reincarnations of the souls of sinners, people who transgressed and did all sorts of things which should not be done. They had been reincarnated in order to atone.”

Where are your remarks excoriating far more worse and more egregious religious proclamations, exhortations to genocide, explicit racism and bigotry? Do you want to get into the ocmparison game and track records? Do you really want to go there?

The funny hate remark is most telling- Lots of them in the region
