Must Watch for Audiophiles: A Film by Ken Barnes on crazy Greek Audiophiles
I grew up listening to music from CDs and then via MP3 - in other words digitally reproduced music. Just recently, I discovered ‘analog’ reproduced music.
It literally blew my mind listening to analog music. I just starred so I am buying used LP vinyl albums for my second hand Fischer I got at a flea market but in doing some research on upgrading my machine I did a Youtube search and came across this film by Ken Barnes on the Greek Audiophile club in Greece and the audiophile systems they created and the amount they spent, etc.
In my mind, I am trying to see if I can create my own version of these machines, vacuum tubes and all and if I want to go down that road to audiophile madness.
Music being listened in this way (analog vs digital) was a revelation to me so I hope you enjoy.
