The first paper on climate was written in 1896 by Nobelist Svante Ahrennius.

It takes mental deficiency on the scale of a republican to think that thermodynamics was a Chinese plot.

This is why I say the Republican Party is a serious danger to the future of this country. The GOP picked Broun to be in charge of science at the highest government level -- and he isn't the only kook they put on the House Committee on Science and Technology.
