The Vatican has denounced this sect.

The Vatican on Monday dismissed anti-Semitic comments by the head of a rebel Catholic traditionalist group, saying the Roman church did not see Jews as enemies.

Bishop Bernard Fellay, head of the rebel Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), said last month that Jews were among those “who over centuries have been enemies of the Church”.

Jewish support for the modernizing reforms of the 1962-1965 Second Vatican Council showed they were opposed to the Church, he said. The SSPX rejects the Council as a heretical event that betrayed age-old Catholic teaching and undermined the Church.

“It is impossible to speak of the Jews as enemies of the Church,” Vatican spokesman Rev Federico Lombardi said, stressing the Church position on this was “clear and well-known”.

“The Church is deeply committed to dialogue with Jews,” he added.

True. As a matter of fact, while they might have recently had their excommunications rescinded it’s not as if they’re in good standing with Rome.
Good heavens, these guys have been deemed too conservative/reactionary by the pope.
These guys are considered to be nuts by pretty much any catholic, no matter how conservative, who would even know of them - they’re extremely marginal.
I was raised by parents who cheered for the appointment of the current pope because at least he was nearly conservative enough for them and even they view this society as a bunch of extremists (which is good if only because finally, we can agree on something!).

However, while Alouette is right that the Vatican has previously denounced the SSPX, the excommunication of their leadership (for unauthorized anointment of several bishops, IIRC - though that was mostly the straw that broke the camel’s back) has recently been rescinded by the pope - without consulting his advisors on this (which led to quite some amusement, if you like reading about cardinals’ ruffled feathers - I personally quite enjoy the sight of banal politicking in the leadership of the RC church - makes me glad I don’t recognize that bunch as any kind of authority on my faith anymore if nothing else :) ).

Now those who watch the regression of the RC church away from what little liberal impetus was present for some time see this with a leery eye - the current pope, if anything, is no friend of much-needed reform - but in mitigation one has to also consider his considerable effort (normally I’d say something like crusade but, eehh..) in (at least what is his idea of) reconciliation and cooperation between christians in the broadest possible sense (of course meaning everyone else has to follow the doctrine of Rome but to be fair, that’s what he wears the fancy hat for…) which might, and often has, le(a)d him to quite some consideration for beliefs he might personally feel to be antithetical to Truth(tm) - any approach towards SSPX is basically the Vatican’s idea of a ‘big tent’, as you’d call it.

So while it might appear as if the Vatican is supporting this sect, Aloutte’s point still very much stands.
…Just thought I’d clarify for those who might only follow one or two links from the article :)
