Ignore the off shore bank accounts and tax evasion of US corporations along with Federal subsidies for said corporations. Ignore unfunded wars and out of control “defense” spending. Ignore the rewards and tax breaks awarded for “off shoring” what used to be American jobs. Ignore Union busting and the repeated efforts to crush hold down wages and the plundering of pensions by same companies whose assets sit off shore tax free. Just ignore the facts that the American middle class has been dipped stripped blued and tattooed. Lazy good for nothing bastards. The re branding goes forward. The lie remains the same. 2014 is a very large year.

We’re all dependent on government to ensure that our air is breathable, or water drinkable, our food not contaminated, that our roads and infrastructure are intact, etc…

“Today, more people than ever before — 69.5 million Americans, from college students to retirees to welfare beneficiaries — depend on the federal government for housing, food, income, student aid, or other assistance once considered to be the responsibility of individuals, families, neighborhoods, churches, and other civil society institutions,” DeMint wrote.

Wingnuts bashing government spending: it’s not just about welfare anymore.

Seriously. college students, student aid? Demented wants to get rid of that or lessen it? And retirees? He’s bashing most of the Tea Party.

Did Jim include himself and all of the elected parasites who suck us dry and provide themselves with benefits that kings of times past could only dream of, while telling us we’re the deadbeat takers?

So 69.5 million is too many. How many would be OK for Jim? I wonder what the appropriate number of Americans who can be allowed some kind of federal or government assistance at any point in time is for Jim Demented. And is it a number that has to be zealously adhered to no matter the circumstances? I guess in Jim Demented’s world, any number of people getting some manner of assistance would be “too many.” What a prick. Him and his “Foundation”.

So I trust that Jim will be forfeiting his pension as a former member of Congress. Nah better to draw a pension and shame people. DeMint’s a fucking hypocritical weasel. He rags on the government but has no problem using that government to push his twisted morality.
