“development in which resource use aims to meet human needs while preserving the environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for generations to come.”

Yeah, this “sustainable development” stuff sounds pretty sinister.

It’s our god given right to fuck up the environment and squander its resources ….that’s what they’re here for …us . This is like ” Manifest Destiny ” …we are here ,therefore we may do whatever we want .

Because dumb and simple are now virtues. Simple folk, harkening for simpler times. Children of the Corn, and all that bullshit.

I would have said “because offense assholes who hate education and ‘liberals’ are the new saints”

If it isn’t in Leviticus, a tract by the John Birch society, the Heritage foundation or a pamphlet by a Koch bros industry flack then it’s straight from SATAN.

Because that seminal American value-waste-is more important than ‘generations to come’.

You should also read “Liberty & Tyranny” by Mark Levin. All this environmental crap is yet another intrusion on our personal liberty - telling us what kind of car we have to drive, what kind of food to eat, what kind of lightbulbs we’re allowed to have.

It starts with noble sounding aims - “clean energy,” “good nutrition,” “aafety,” etc., but it ends with the statist in full possession of your guns.

You’ve got to remember that these are just simple farmers … these are people of the land … the common clay of the New West. You know – morons.
