I live in GA. This guy probably has quite an arsenal of weapons of all kinds. The members of our republican-majority state legislature claim to be pro-life and to support family values but seem to think very little about these since they’ve been attempting to expand gun rights to the mentally ill and felons. Everything here is the opposite of the way things should be. 20 kids killed in CT? Weaken gun laws. School officials killed in CT? Weaken gun laws. People in GA keep dying as a result of gun violence? Weaken gun laws.
The lawmakers here that republicans call brave, I call the worst kind of cowards.

ABC News is reporting that 1 of the firefighters was released to move the fire truck they arrived on. The firefighters had been called to the location by a person claiming there was a medical emergency.

Several Channel 2 Action News crews are in Suwanee where a barricaded gunman just released one of five Gwinnett firefighters being held hostage at a foreclosed home.

I wonder if it will be today or tomorrow when a Republican in GA puts forth a bill to require all firefighters to carry bazookas.

Friends in Georgia are saying there were shots fired near the scene. Another friend says they killed the gunman. No link.
