Man, those revolutionaries that call themselves conservatives really do live in a separate reality, don’t they?

This isn’t Bush-centric, but when the hell was it decided that every one of these ex-presidents was entitled to build their own shrine to themselves, bought an paid for by corporate interests while the soon to be ex-president was still in office, and supported forever by the poor taxpayers?

Safe? I won’t blame Bush for 9/11 but if that had happened on Clinton or Obama’s presidency, I doubt Charles Krauthammer would be saying they kept us safe. And the screed about Obama criticizing his policies but keeping them as president is laughable too. Because Obama’s the first ever president to do that. Krauthammer’s a hack and has been for a long time.

The thousands of US soldiers killed, maimed or psychologically damaged in Iraq weren’t kept safe. The millions of Americans who have been rendered unemployable by long-term joblessness caused by Bush’s policies haven’t been kept safe.

“He kept us safe” is the empty slogan used by Krauthammer and his allies to divert attention from the failure of Bush’s presidency, the failure of their neocon philosophy, and the unmitigated disaster of Iraq.

Rather than defending these things, they cling to their BS talking point, all while blaming Obama for Boston. Total right wing hackery, of no use to anyone except the loyal Bushies who just can’t admit how badly their hero fucked up, both domestically and internationally.

Charles Krauthammer is no “teahadi”; He’s a sane a decent man. Agree with him or disagree, but don’t compare him to assholes like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

But Krauthammer does live in an alternate reality. One in which Iraq was a smashing success and W was a great president. Does that sound like a sane and decent man to you?

Maybe in your world, but away from Fox News, Krauthammer is nothing more than a sycophant and robotic apologist for everything the loyal Bushies don’t want to face up to.

And who here called him a “teahadi”? He’s not, but he is one of the leading proponenets of far right neoconservatism, and he’s an inflexible ideologue on foreign policy. Plus he attacks Obama in whatever way Fox finds convenient that day, regardless of how inconsistent with his previous defenses of Bush. And he’s just one more of the loyal RW attack dogs who refused to give Obama credit for anything, including bin Laden’s death. Maybe once he was decent and fair; now he’s a fading old man filled with bile who rather blindly follows an ideology and doesn’t shrink from implying all sorts of nastiness about Obama, including that he sympathizes with radical Islamists.

Maybe in your book, that’s a decent man. Sad if that’s the case.

Why not?

More often than not Krauthammer completely agrees with those guys. If you lie down with shit, as Krauthammer has, you will stink when you get up.

I dont know if he is a “teahadi” or not, but since Obama has been President he has lost his damn mind.

The only difference between Krauthammer, Beck, and Limbaugh is that Charles tries to sound intellectual. No disrespect DF but he deserves to be compared to them when he makes statements like saying the president should have known it was going to rain the day of his convention speech. He’s a hack.
