Is US Public Rallying Around Edward Snowden?

No.

IMO the poll indicates a reduction of confidence in the government, not support for Snowden.

Concur. The public can easily be concerned about the NSA while still regarded Snowden as a douchebag who deserves to go to prison.

I’d have paid more attention to Snowden if he’d gone to Rolling Stone instead of Greenwald.

I’d have given him more credence if he hadn’t fled to China, of all places, and everything which coincided with this release of infrormation didn’t scream “agenda”. I’m far from being an Obamabot, and it was like a punch in the gut to see this affect the President’s visit there.

All the people who say we need to support leakers so there can be more leakers don’t seem to realize the damage THIS SPECIFIC LEAKER is doing all by himself. He’s the anti-leaker. Spreading a naive and misguided idea of what national security entails. Of what patriotism truly is. He can whine about the government not respecting personal privacy till he’s blue in the face, because he just ensured that he will be watched, his every move, by any and every military with the capability to do so. All for telling us about things anyone who’s been paying attention since the late 1980’s could have told you without lying their way into an NSA contracting assignment. If he has any bombshell news, it hasn’t been released to anyone in the public.

From the article:

The just-released Quinnipiac survey shows that, by 55 to 34 percent, respondents judged Mr. Snowden to be a whistle-blower, not a traitor.

That;s why Charles’ LGF Pages book mark function automatically put in a link to the article so that you can read it if you want.

Let me guess, you weren’t serious and just wanted to make a parody of Fox New’s method of reading polls?
