Newsreaders have to be the dumbest people in the media. Then there are Fox news readers.

On the positive side, the person who made up the graphic has a bright future working on messaging for the GOP.

The FCC can, and should, fine the station for this. They apparently didn’t originate the prank, but there are such things as due diligence and common sense.

You sure ktvu.com is FOX right?

I mean the word FOX does not seem to appear on the video, and on the website it says Cox Media Group.

However there might be two KTVU channels in San Francisco.

That would be confusing for sure, but there is no way you are just saying FOX because you assume that the bigotry came from FOX, or that you are just slandering FOX.

No way. There must be two channels with the same call sign (in San Francisco)

Oh ya, and you misspelled San Francisco in your snark line (San Fransisco)

They’re a Fox affiliate, Bucko. And it’s not my “snark line”. Maybe Charles added San Francisco, but I didn’t.

Looks like they might have some job openings for assholes at KTVU/Fox 2. Check Employment Opportunities

You must be a happy man tonight, seeing that one of your own just got away with murder.

And the funniest part of the story, is they confirmed the pilots names NTSB! Supposedly with an intern!

You kind of look like an idiot now.

Your dickishness is only rivaled by your schoolmarmishness (spelling errors? really?) and your utter toolness (defending a Fox affiliate like you’re their attorney). Bottom line: you’re a clown.

They certainly came up with the names, which they then checked with an NTSB intern.

The point is, who at KTVU wouldn’t have spotted those names as bogus in the first place? That had to get past at least a couple of people to make it on the air.

They’ve got some ‘splainin to do, and so far they’re just digging the hole deeper.

5 seconds of searching shows it’s a fox station.
Why so quick on the defense? I mean, this is something we could all agree on as being stupid on their part and the NTSB’s intern.

Asiana Airlines is suing KTVU-TV for defamation. latimes.com

Meanwhile, Erik Wemple at the Washington Post calls the lawsuit “idiotic,” because, you know, everyone could tell it was only a joke. Wemple does justly point out that the airline should be worried about the three kids who died and many other passengers injured than some dumb cluck’s idea of a joke.
