I think this guy is suing the wrong people. The Romans crucified Jesus; he should be suing the Pope, because that’s where all the money is.

Yeah, but they’d send the Jesuits to defend the Vatican. My money would be on the Jesuits.

Open letter to Kenya: I urge you to disbar Dola Indidis on the grounds of willful ignorance. He doesn’t know history beyond what the bible says, and is too stupid to research it before putting his foot in his mouth. Such a f***ing moron shouldn’t be practicing law.

For starters:

Although those he suggests should have been convicted during the original trial have not been alive for more than 2,000 years, Indidis insists that the government for whom they acted can and should still be held responsible.

(emphasis added)

The governments in question, both the Roman empire and it’s vassal in Israel, have ceased to exist long ago. Additionally, multiple subsequent governments, both in the Italian peninsula and the Israeli/Palestinian region, has come and gone. The governments which destroyed the governments which likewise destroyed the governments responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus are no more. By no stretch of the imagination is there any legal basis for the suit proposed by Indidis.

It always surprises me that some people on the public eye make utter tits of themselves.

OK, I’m guessing you are English; am I correct? Because that only sounds right in my head if it sounds like John Cleese is saying it.

Now this is interesting, because what would the Fundie Rapture believers say to this? They would never say “Ancient Israel is not the same as the modern state” because their whole belief revolves around the modern and ancient one being one and the same

“Evidence today is on record in the Bible, and you cannot discredit the Bible,”

I think I see a problem with his initial assumptions. Also with everything else about this. He’s either nuts, or seeking attention or status in a really derpy subculture.

Well I can give it the old college try!

Christians seem to forget that without the crucifixion there would be no Christianity as they see it. Which means it is completely irrelevant who killed him, someone had to do it or there would be no resurrection story.
No resurrection story No Christianity, no “he died for our sins”

I think Israel should take him up on it, it sets legal mandate on the physical location of Jews in 1st Century Judaea.

If you find his Facebook page, you will discover three posts/pictures & nothing else: One is a shot of his Kenyan Lawyer Car (or whatever it’s called). The other two are copies of the same letter, asking the recipient for a dollar so he can take all the Jews to court.

THIS IS NOTHING MORE THAN A KENYAN NIGERIAN SCAM!!!

SMH…

Dear Dola Indidis,

There was no flesh and blood human being named Jesus the Christ.

The Jesus cult developed out of a fusion of Neo-Platonism and Judaism.

The early Christians (at least, a significant number of them, including Paul) believed in a descending, dying/rising redeemer who never came to Earth. Rather their Jesus descended through the layers of heaven to the one between the Earth and Moon, where he took on the likeness of flesh and was put to death by the demon spirits (archons) or “the rulers of this present age.” He then descended into Sheol and released the captives there, then rose in glory, put the demon spirits under his feet, ascended back through the heavens until he sat at the right hand of the Father.

At no time did this Jesus live a human life in Israel/Judea/Palestine. In fact, Paul’s own words preclude any human life for Jesus, and an examination of the theology of the early Christians shows that if Jesus had actually possessed real flesh and blood (instead of being “in the likeness” of it), his death and resurrection could have no salvific value.

Belief in human Jesus comes from ignorant Gentile reading of the Gospels, which are teaching allegories based almost entirely on Jewish scripture, and are not about any actual person (even though real itinerant preachers may have served as models for the Jesus character, as an actual spy might serve as a model for a fictional spy). There is no solid evidence outside the Gospels for Jesus’ existence; the few scraps available are rather easily explained or dismissed as later Christian interpolations.

Christianity today is based on faith in a fictional character. Nobody human killed Jesus. But feel free to sue the archons if you wish. Not sure why you would be upset with them, though…they did exactly what the Father and the Son wanted them to do, to effect their own defeat, the release of the prisoners and the salvation of humankind…but I guess actually thinking is too taxing for you.
