Concave surfaces focus light, imagine that! Somebody should have had the architect compute the focal length of the side of the building.

They had sort of the same issue with the Vdara Hotel in Vegas. It’s concave shaped and it focuses the light down into the pool area. Here’s a link to a new story with video on it.

How hot does it have to be in order to melt a piece of a car like that?

PS: Here’s another example of an ugly building making the surrounding area too hot
