Don’t forget Heimbach’s moment of glory at CPAC this year:

Also, remember the folks over at WorldNetDaily are fans.

Everything about Heimbach says, “I am a Loser.” He was probably the kid other kids bullied in elementary school.

It is my personal opinion, that there has been, and will be, a lot of people like this “coming out of the sheets” on the backs of the angry extremist right wing.

I know not every one on the right is a racist, but the modern right wing has many roots in the scorned, vengeful, neo confederacy. White nationalism is lurking and hiding in almost every policy and talking point they have. People like this are feeling more comfortable about choosing this ideology and they have more mainstream support right now than they have had in a long time.

QFT. They aren’t (yet) in a position where one of their own can be the GOP presidential nominee, but they are getting some real influence, and may be able to play king-maker in some elections (e.g., Iowa caucuses, some state-level primaries) and tilt GOP party platform planks in more extreme directions.

Pat Buchanan won the NH GOP primary in 1996. After that, the GOP establishment of that time shut him down. Such suppression of the neo-Nazi fringe would not be so easy today.

Exactly. I was just thinking that some of the individuals may be losers, but there are successful, powerful groups & individuals with lots of money who won’t hesitate to help these racists gain more influence if it’ll allow them to hold onto power longer.

It’s creepy…pure insanity to watch the far-left snuggle up to these bastards on the far-right, especially people from minority groups. It’s only a matter of time before the anti-Semitism is mainstreamed the way Islamophobia has been over the past few years. As one of the commenters at the SPLC article put it:

Dan, the pro-Israel wing *is* anti-Semitic . They are only supposed to reclaim Israel for the ril Chrischuns. After that, they’re either supposed to accepts Jeebus or literally go to Hell.

In other news, Geert Wilders is busy trying to create alliances to gain power for the creepy-crawly far-right in Europe also.

Excuse me, but I was the kid everyone bullied in school, and I did not turn out like this “person.”
