I’ve been keeping an eye on this latest Zimmerman affair. I personally believe this man should be in jail over the killing of Trayvon Martin.

So, there were a few pages about this when the event occurred and there were plenty of sites showed the police cuffing Zimmerman at the scene. But the home security video didn’t surface till a bit later. So here it is, incontrovertible evidence that Zimmerman did indeed destroy his wife’s iPad.

Things did take an interesting twist when a resident of the area sent an email to the local police chief, Steve Bracknell, in which he asks many questions as to why Zimmerman was not charged with any crime. The emailer made a comment about Zimmerman…

Either way you had crimes committed by this man and did nothing, Zimmerman is a Sandy Hook, Aurora waiting to happen your job is to protect the communities you serve and you are failing big time….

Bracknell replied to the email and his reply on to the Sandy Hook comment was this….

Your reference to Sandy Hook…………. I agree.

Since then he has apparently tried to walk that back a little. It is in fact worth reading those emails as Bracknell does a decent job of explaining why no charges were laid, they are here:

There seems to be no question that Zimmerman had a weapon with him on this day, but whether or not he presented the weapon remains an open question. But this is one man that I think should not be walking free.
