Rand Paul: Eugenics on the Horizon unless we Stop Abortions

LYNCHBERG, Va. — Tea party hero Rand Paul warned scientific advancements could lead to eugenics during a Monday visit at Liberty University, looking to boost the political fortunes of fellow Republican Ken Cuccinelli’s bid for governor.

During a visit to the Christian school founded by Jerry Falwell, Paul looked to energize conservative supporters by warning that people who are short, overweight or less intelligent could be eliminated through abortion. With one week remaining, Cuccinelli is hoping the joint appearance with the U.S. senator from Kentucky will encourage the far-right flank of his party to abandon third-party libertarian spoiler Robert Sarvis.

Truly bizarre. This from a guy who must know a whole lot of his support comes from what amounts to a bunch of neo-nazis.
Words seem to have no meaning for these people.
Eugenics, communism, socialism, the morning after pill (they see that as abortion!) - it goes on and on. It’s name calling, and it’s pretty much their number one pastime these days.

Exactly. Eugenics, forced sterilization, etc. were around long before abortion was legalized. The urge to use this ridiculous claim say something really ugly is almost overwhelming, but I’m going to resist

Exactly. Hell if anything eugenics have declined in the years since abortion was legalized. I don’t think legalized abortion is that reason- more so changing societal attitudes but for Rand to go up there and claim that legalized abortion leads to eugenics is an outright lie and the sleazy fucker knows it and yet no one will call him on it.
